Our client, a leading commercial drywall contractor, seeks an experienced Branch Manager to lead their Boston operations. This role offers an exceptional opportunity for a seasoned drywall professional to drive growth and operational excellence.POSITION OVERVIEW:
We're seeking a dynamic Branch Manager with comprehensive commercial drywall experience to oversee all aspects of the Boston branch operations, including project execution, team leadership, and business development.REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
• 10+ years of commercial drywall industry experience
• Proven experience managing Project Managers and Estimators
• Expert proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid software
• Track record of successful branch/division P&L management
• Strong understanding of commercial drywall systems and assemblies
• Experience with projects valued at $1MM+KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Lead and mentor a team of Project Managers and Estimators
• Oversee branch operations, including project execution and financial performance
• Drive business development and maintain key client relationships
• Manage branch P&L, budgeting, and resource allocation
• Ensure quality control and safety standards compliance
• Develop and implement strategic growth initiatives
• Coordinate with corporate leadership on business strategiesTECHNICAL SKILLS:
• Advanced proficiency in On-Screen Takeoff and Quickbid (required)
• Strong estimating and project management capabilities
• Expertise in reading and interpreting construction documents
• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
• Knowledge of current building codes and safety regulationsLEADERSHIP CAPABILITIES:
• Proven team building and mentoring abilities
• Excellence in written and verbal communication
• Strong negotiation and client relationship skills
• Strategic thinking and problem-solving abilities
• Financial acumen and P&L management experienceEDUCATION & CERTIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field preferred
• OSHA 30 certification required
