The Automobile Technician will service a variety of passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs, working primarily within small teams. This role involves comprehensive vehicle inspection and diagnostics, maintenance, and repair to ensure safety and optimal vehicle performance. Utilizing standard mechanical tools, the technician will address issues related to brakes, electrical systems, tires, fluids, and preventive maintenance without the need for travel.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough vehicle inspections for passenger cars, light trucks, and SUVs
- Perform accurate diagnostics using standard mechanical tools
- Service and repair brake systems to maintain safety standards
- Maintain and repair electrical systems in various vehicle types
- Provide preventive maintenance to reduce future vehicle issues
- Perform tire and wheel services including replacements and alignments
- Replace and maintain essential vehicle fluids
- Ensure compliance with all safety protocols during service
Preferred Qualifications
- Over 5 years of experience in automotive repair
- Associate degree in automotive technology
- Expertise in engine diagnostics and brake systems
- Proficient in electrical systems repair
- Skilled in operating automotive tools
