The position has an hourly rate $33-$37/HR. plus a competitive commission, with earning potential up to $135,000 per year. Duties and Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Provide heavy duty towing and roadside assistance in a safe, professional, and timely manner.</li>
<li>Complete all heavy-duty towing/transport deliveries/pickups as scheduled. </li>
<li>Swiftly, calmly, and professionally rectify customer issues that may arise. </li>
<li>Perform pre-trip and post-trip DOT inspections.</li>
<li>Maintain accurate and up to date driver logs, trip sheets, and submit weekly.</li>
<li>Able to read and navigate by map and/or GPS, plot routes, and follow oral and written delivery instructions. </li>
<li>Communicate and work diligently with all Dispatch personnel. </li>
<li>Observe rules and regulations, safety procedures, and traffic laws. </li>
<li>Follow accident procedures as needed.</li>
<li>Inspect, protect, and maintain company assets, merchandise, and vehicles. </li>
<li>Ensure appropriate delivery documentation is generated, filled out, and submitted via Tow Book. </li>
<li>Process and dispose of hazardous and non-hazardous materials as needed. </li>
<li>Ensure assigned company truck is kept clean and presentable. </li>
<li>Report any problems with tractor/trailer/tanker to management immediately. </li>
<li>Regularly wash truck during downtime. </li>
<li>Complete proper paperwork related to dispatch and admin in a timely manner. </li>
<li>Perform additional tasks as needed/assigned.</li>
</ul>
Skills and Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Valid commercial driver's license with CDL-A with doubles/triples endorsement.</li>
<li>Hazmat and tanker endorsements are strongly encouraged.</li>
<li>Must not have Automatic Transmission restrictions.</li>
<li>Must have DOT Medical Card and clean driving record.</li>
<li>Ability to operate heavy duty vehicles safely and efficiently.</li>
<li>Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.</li>
<li>Ability to work independently and as part of a team.</li>
<li>Attention to detail and strong organizational skills.</li>
<li>Flexibility to work weekends and holidays as needed.</li>
</ul>
Education &amp; Experience:
<ul>
<li>High school diploma or equivalent.</li>
<li>At least two (2) years of commercial driving experience.</li>
<li>Basic mechanical skills and ability to use tools.</li>
</ul>
