The Auto Parts Specialist at Sanel NAPA is responsible for the maintenance and sale of inventory that provides automotive equipment and supplies. Essential Functions

As a Sanel NAPA Automotive Parts Specialist, you are looked at as the “face of the retail store” and the go to person as soon as our customers enter our retail stores for all their automotive needs. The Auto Parts Specialist at Sanel NAPA is responsible for the maintenance and sale of inventory that provides automotive equipment and supplies. Duties include maintaining detailed records of inventory and overseeing the timely delivery of parts to and from their location. 
Essential Functions
<ul>
<li>Provide outstanding customer care and interactions with everyone who comes into our Sanel NAPA Store. Genuinely enjoy helping our retail and wholesale customers with their auto parts and service questions.</li>
<li>Provide accurate auto parts answers and solutions for our retail and wholesale customers in person at the counter/over the phone.</li>
<li>Use your parts knowledge to assist other Sanel NAPA team members answer questions for customers.</li>
<li>Bring customer focus and high energy to our fast-paced stores.</li>
<li>Welcome retail customers into our retail stores and engage to provide a positive consumer experience.</li>
<li>Effectively use technology (computer), cash register, telephone, and paper catalog system.</li>
<li>Actively participate in and promote workplace safety through safety huddles and following the Safety Handbook.</li>
<li>Demonstrate ability to use the TAMS system through effective use of the TAMS point-of-sale invoicing cash drawer. </li>
<li>Process credit card transactions using the credit card processing equipment. </li>
<li>Demonstrate knowledge of customer pricing methods used by the store.</li>
<li>Secure the "right part" the first time. </li>
<li>Route deliveries in a timely manner </li>
<li>Maintain special order/back-order system.</li>
<li>Upon appropriate training, may be expected to open and close the store as requested by the Store Manager to support store operations.</li>
<li>All other duties as assigned.</li>

Education and Experience: 
<ul>
<li>Minimum age 18 years of age with High School Diploma or GED required, Technical or Trade School courses or degree preferred.</li>
<li>Previous experience in a parts store or automotive industry or a willingness to learn all things auto parts.</li>
<li>Motor Vehicle Record check required.</li>
<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and video use (Zoom/Teams).</li>
<li>Effective communication and written skills.</li>
<li>Must be flexible and able to operate in a team environment.</li>
<li>Able to diagnose problems, collect information, establish facts, draw valid conclusions, and resolve a variety of operational issues ranging from ordinary to complex.</li>
<li>Able to Interpret and explain instructions.</li>
<li>Ability to respond rapidly and effectively to changing requirements on short notice. </li>
