Position Summary 
The Director of Concentration in Mental Performance Consulting (MPC) at William James College (WJC) is for a full-time, 12-month faculty position as Associate or Assistant Professor. This role includes serving as the Director for the CMPC, which focuses on training graduate students in mental performance consulting within a mental health framework. Primary teaching responsibilities include online, face-to-face, hybrid, and online graduate courses. The faculty workload consists of teaching 18 graduate credit hours per academic year. Additional duties include academic advising, scholarly productivity, college service, collaboration, accreditation-related activities, and promotion of the program and the college. The Director must have expertise in sport and performance psychology or consulting and be committed to training students in mental performance consulting. They must also have a strong professional identity, leadership skills, and experience supporting students in meeting CMPC coursework and applied training requirements. 
 
Essential Functions 
Faculty 
<ul>
<li>Teach 18 credits during the academic year (this can be distributed during the Fall, Spring, and Summer semesters). Course release is available for concentration directors. Overloads will be compensated at the regular overload rate. Teaching for other departments should be approved by your department chair.  </li>
<li>Serve on institutional/faculty governance committees.  </li>
<li>Advise 12 students.  </li>
<li>Engage in admissions-related work such as attending Open Houses and Interview Days and reviewing applications.</li>
<li>Attend Clinical Mental Health Counseling Program Faculty meetings, two hours every other week.</li>
<li>Attend an annual Counseling and Behavioral Health Department all-day faculty retreat. </li>

Education and Experience 
<ul>
<li>Education: Counselor Education from a CACREP accredited program preferred, or doctoral degree in counseling or related area with at least one year of full-time teaching experience in a graduate counseling program prior to July 1, 2013 (as per CACREP 2024 standards). Preference will be given to applicants from a CACREP-accredited program. Will also consider Doctoral Degree in Clinical, Counseling, or Sports Psychology, with a master’s degree in Counseling Psychology or Clinical Mental Health Counseling. </li>
<li>Professional License: Licensed as a mental health counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts (or license eligible if licensed as a counselor in another state with the expectation of obtaining the LMHC in MA within a year of employment). Licensed psychologists who are eligible to be licensed as LMHC will be considered. Faculty are expected to have a clinical license within a year of employment.</li>
<li>Certification in Mental Performance Consulting by the Association for Applied Sports Psychology.</li>
<li>Established professional identity as a mental health counselor or professional service as demonstrated by participation in counseling professional associations, presentations at conferences, and/or continued education presentations, among others.</li>
<li>Prefer 3 years of full-time or equivalent clinical experience post-master’s degree. At least 2 years of clinical experience is required, along with maintaining some involvement in clinical practice or consultation.</li>
<li>At least 1 year of experience teaching graduate students in a counseling program, including experience supervising practicum and internship students.</li>
<li>Scholarship: Research experience or development of pedagogical or clinical interventions, programs, or evaluation methods.</li>
<li>Familiarity with accreditation compliance and assessment reporting.</li>
<li>Experience teaching graduate students in a counseling or psychology program.</li>
<li>Strong commitment to Inclusive Excellence in training and practice.</li>
<li>Three years of post-master’s clinical or applied experience is preferred.</li>

ABOUT THE OPPORTUNITY
Match Charter Public School has a 2025-2026 opening for a Middle School Sub-Separate Classroom Teacher. This position is based at Match Middle School, 215 Forest Hills St. in Jamaica Plain, MA.&nbsp;
The compensation for Match teaching positions ranges from $61,812-$98,899 and is based on a candidates prior years of&nbsp; teaching experience.&nbsp; Match offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes 90% coverage of health insurance costs and student loan repayment assistance.&nbsp;
OVERVIEW OF ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES
We make it a high priority to effectively support students with disabilities at Match.&nbsp; Approximately 20% of Match students are on Individualized Education Plans (IEPs). Special Education Teachers provide instruction and support to students with IEPs. The Special Education Sub-Separate Teacher reports to the Special Education Director and is responsible for:&nbsp;

<li>Providing instruction and support to Special Education students in the middle schools sub-separate classroom.&nbsp;&nbsp;</li>
<li>Helping to manage the schools Special Education programing including, but not limited to: completion of necessary paperwork and filing, teacher professional development, management of parent and student communication, administration of student testing/screening, and upholding of applicable Department of Elementary and Secondary Education compliance requirements.</li>
<li>Upholding high academic and behavioral expectations for students, and provide lots of support for getting students there;</li>
<li>Participating actively in Matchs coaching and professional development programming;</li>
<li>Assisting with school programming as needed during non-instructional time; and</li>
<li>Serving as a positive and collaborative member of the Match Charter Public School community</li>

Middle School Sub-Separate Classroom Teacher (2025-2026)

Job Description
<ol>
<li>Development, implementation and maintenance of educational materials for HVAC product and services training. Prepare sales aids, stock lists, match up forms etc… for internal and customer use.</li>
<li>Scheduling, organizing, facilitation and delivery of classroom, virtual classroom, and on-the-job training for branch personnel and customers. Development and updating of a variety of HVAC certification programs as necessary.</li>
<li>Become certified trainer in vendor training programs (Kohler, Mitsubishi)</li>
<li>Monitors the HVAC training programs to evaluate their effectiveness and recommend modifications as necessary.</li>
<li>Functions as an internal consultant on HVAC product lines to assess, measure, and enhance the performance of employees.</li>
<li>Responds in a timely manner to customers and TGG associates seeking technical support.</li>
<li>When necessary, visit job sites with customers and vendors.</li>
<li>Maintains records of HVAC training activities and employee attendance and progress. Also requires tracking income and expenses for all training.</li>
<li>Coordinates learning delivery through multiple mediums including personal facilitation, e-learning, vendor, and/or other established educational organizations or professional development group.</li>
<li>Facilitate and support the integration of company marketing concepts and strategies within the sales function and convey integration methods to the branch staff .Accompany outsides sales team and branch managers during client presentations; proactively secure and generate new business and identify plumbing and heating contractors seeking to add HVAC to their business strategy .Collaborate with purchasing and branch staff to collectively identify the necessary HVAC products for servicing the marketplace.</li>
<li>Interface with new hired and tenured employees to ensure that the HVAC sales training program addresses, both, current and future organizational needs</li>
<li>Continuously Remains abreast of HVAC industry trends and monitors HVAC marketplace. Continuously participate in increasing knowledge of HVAC products, local and federal requirements, technological advances and strategies.</li>
<li>Work with VP of Marketing and manufacturers representatives to set up counter days and other educational functions for The Granite Group staff and customers.</li>
<li>Perform all duties in a consistently safe manner and adhere to all company safety policies.</li>
<li>Be familiar with Wrightsoft to assist branches who need help with this program.</li>
<li>Perform other duties as assigned.</li>
