CNC Lathe (1st & 2nd Shift)
Shifts: 1st & 2nd Shift Available
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced CNC Lathe Machinist to support aerospace manufacturing operations. This role focuses on setting up and operating multi-axis CNC lathes to produce high-precision components while maintaining strict quality and tolerance standards.
Key Responsibilities:

Set up and operate multi-axis CNC lathes (Okuma, Doosan, etc.)

Interpret blueprints, GD&T, and process sheets

Machine complex aerospace parts to tight tolerances (.0010)

Perform in-process inspections using precision measuring tools

Adjust tooling, speeds, and feeds for optimal performance

Troubleshoot machining issues and collaborate with teams

Follow AS9100 / ISO quality standards and maintain documentation

Maintain a clean and safe work environment
Qualifications:
-
10+ years of CNC lathe setup and operation experience
-
Strong knowledge of multi-axis machining and GD&T
-
Experience machining materials like Inconel, titanium, and stainless steel

Proficient with inspection tools and quality standards

Ability to work independently and mentor junior machinists

Familiarity with Okuma/Fanuc controls preferred
