Position Overview
The General Counsel of LGES Vertech reports to the company’s CEO and provides senior management with legal advice on company strategies, contracts, manages the legal function, and directs and oversees the work of outside counsel. Key Responsibilities:
<ul>
<li>Draft and file legal documents, including pleadings, motions, discovery requests, and responses.</li>
<li>Coordinate and communicate with courts, clients, and opposing counsel.</li>
<li>Assist attorneys in preparing for trials, hearings, depositions, and other legal proceedings.</li>
<li>Conduct legal research and gather relevant information to support case preparation.</li>
<li>Organize and maintain case files, ensuring all documents are properly filed and easily accessible.</li>
</ul>
​Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>Minimum of 1 year experience as a paralegal in civil litigation or equivalent work experience.</li>
<li>Excellent written and verbal communication skills.</li>
<li>Proficient in legal research and familiar with legal research tools and databases.</li>
<li>Highly organized with strong attention to detail.</li>
<li>Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively.</li>
<li>Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal practice management software.</li>
</ul>
Schedule:

<li>8 hour shift</li>
<li>Monday to Friday</li>

Education:

<li>High School or equivalent</li>
</ul>
Experience: 
<ul>
<li>Microsoft Office: 1 year (preferred)</li>
<li>Paralegal: 1 year (preferred)</li>
