The Controls &amp; Automation Engineer is responsible for designing, programming, and implementing robust automation and control systems that support manufacturing operations. This role ensures production processes run efficiently, safely, and at the highest quality, while driving continuous improvement through system upgrades, optimization, and integration of Industry 4.0 technologies. The engineer will serve as both a project lead and collaborative team member, working with engineers, project managers, vendors, and customers to deliver effective, reliable automation solutions.

<li>Design, program, and support automation and control systems, including PLCs, HMIs, robotics, motion control, and SCADA systems.</li>
<li>Develop and review electrical control schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and Bills of Material in compliance with standards.</li>

Requirements:

Technical Skills

<li>Strong knowledge of PLC programming (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell, Siemens, or similar).</li>

Work requires operator to stand for long periods of time. Operators must be able to repeatedly lift a pallet weighing 50-75 lbs. Nail guns must be operated with extreme care, adhering to company safety procedures at all times.

Repair Operators must have physical strength, hand-eye coordination, and endurance. Repair Operators must also be able to concentrate on their tasks. The ability to understand and communicate information is also essential.
