Ketcham Supply has worked with the commercial fishing, aquaculture, and marine trades out of New Bedford for over 50 years. We're a small company, real work, no corporate fluff. Roll up your sleeves and jump in.
We're adding an office admin and cross-training them on everything, front office and back.
Customers come first here. Take care of the people who call, email, and walk in, and get their orders shipped same day whenever possible.
What you'll do...
• Assist customers at the counter, by phone, and by email
• Enter quotes, orders, invoices, and payments in QuickBooks Desktop
• Process ecommerce orders through Shopify and Amazon
• Ship packages, pallets, and truckloads
• Keep store stocked and organized
• Order inventory and supplies
• Special projects
We are looking for someone...
• Good with customers and a team player.
• Can multi-task without getting flustered. Customers in store, ringing phones, etc.
• Reliable. You show up on time every day.
• Takes initiative. When your list is done you find what's next.
• Careful with numbers. Payments, bills, and pricing have to be right.
• We run QuickBooks Desktop, Shopify, Amazon Seller Central, and Microsoft Office. We'll be adding a CRM soon.
Helpful, not required: marine, fishing, aquaculture, or B2B distribution background. Social media content creation.
