Job Description
Overview We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Personal Trainer to join our team. Now is a very exciting time where ownership is investing over half million dollars into our fitness area and looking for the right candidate to help build our fitness area. In this role, you will be responsible for guiding clients through personalized fitness programs, helping them achieve their health and wellness goals. As a Personal Trainer, you will leverage your knowledge of body mechanics, anatomy, and physiology to design effective training regimens tailored to individual needs. Your ability to motivate and inspire clients will be key to their success.
Duties
<ul>
<li>Conduct initial assessments of clients' fitness levels and establish personalized training goals.</li>
<li>Design and implement customized workout programs that incorporate proper body mechanics and exercise techniques.</li>
<li>Provide ongoing support and motivation to clients during training sessions.</li>
<li>Educate clients on the principles of physical education, anatomy, and physiology to enhance their understanding of fitness.</li>
<li>Monitor clients' progress and adjust programs as needed to ensure continuous improvement.</li>
<li>Lead group fitness classes as required, promoting a positive and engaging environment.</li>
<li>Utilize sales techniques to promote personal training services and encourage client retention.</li>
<li>Maintain a clean and organized training area, ensuring all equipment is safe for use.</li>
</ul>
Qualifications
<ul>
<li>Proven experience in a gym or fitness environment is preferred.</li>
<li>Strong knowledge of body mechanics, program design, anatomy, and physiology.</li>
<li>Background in physical education or sports coaching is advantageous.</li>
<li>Excellent communication skills with the ability to motivate clients effectively.</li>
<li>Familiarity with fitness sales techniques is a plus.</li>
<li>Certification from a recognized fitness organization is required.</li>
<li>Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends as needed.</li>
