What You’ll Do
As a coach at Veritas Prep you’ll help continue to build a strong sports program, developing student athletes in the areas of knowledge, physical skill, teamwork, leadership, and social and emotional growth. 
You’ll also:

<li>Help student athletes develop positive attitudes while promoting and teaching fair play and good sportsmanship, leadership, and teamwork.</li>
<li>Develop a thorough knowledge of all the athletic policies approved by Veritas Prep High School, including state and league regulations.</li>
<li>Attend public/staff/departmental meetings when required.</li>
<li>Maintain discipline and work to increase morale and cooperation within the school sports program.</li>
<li>Assist in the necessary preparation to hold scheduled sport events or practices and adhere to scheduled facility times. </li>
<li>Coordinate with maintenance and school employees and provide proper safeguards for maintenance and protection of assigned equipment and sites.</li>
<li>Monitor student athletes' grades and conduct.</li>
<li>Be present at all practices and games, and while traveling, provide assistance and guidance to and safeguards for each participant. </li>
<li>Complete and submit paperwork on all disabling athletic injuries on proper forms </li>
<li>Direct student managers and statisticians on respective teams. </li>
<li>Determine discipline and delineate procedures concerning due process when the enforcement of discipline is necessary.</li>
<li>Monitor use and return of equipment, submitting an annual inventory</li>
<li>Submit team records to Athletic Director, including awards lists, all signature forms, and all scores of each competition, including post-season play. </li>
<li>Arrive early enough before practice, contests, and meetings to adequately prepare and remain long enough afterward to help players with problems or to become involved in staff discussions. </li>
<li>Plan and implement in-season and out-of-season conditioning and weight programs. </li>
<li>Perform such other duties that are consistent with the nature of the position and that may be requested by the Principal/Athletic Director.</li>

RESPONSIBILITIES

Summer Bike Camp Instructor

Come join the Pedalheads team this Summer!  We are looking for awesome individuals who will help create breakthrough, happy dancing, high-fiving, “I did it” moments for our campers at our Bike and Trail camps.  
No experience necessary, paid training provided.

The Opportunity: We’re looking for Bike and Trail Instructors for our Summer Camps. Here’s how this job plays a role:

<li>As an Instructor you will spend your days outside while inspiring the next generation of cyclists. It’s active, it’s adventurous, it’s fun and it’s incredibly rewarding. </li>
<li>You don’t have to be a bike expert because we provide training for our programs for you to get going in your new role!  </li>

What you’d be responsible for
In addition to sharing your ideas on how we can grow, learn and build, in this role, you’ll also be: 
<ul>
<li>Teaching our daily Pedalheads camp programs for children ages 2-12 years </li>
<li>Actively introduce children new bike skills </li>
<li>Ensure the health and safety of children at camp </li>
<li>Act as a positive role model and leader at all times </li>
<li>Communicate regularly with parents about their child’s progress   </li>
</ul>
Skills, knowledge and experience
Here are some of the skills / specifics that are important for this role: 
<ul>
<li>You will be at least 18 years of age by the start of camp </li>
<li>Comfortable leading a group of up to 6 children (training provided) </li>
<li>Committed to keeping our campers safe </li>
<li>You are energetic, creative, motivated and fun </li>
<li>Hold or willing to get a current Standard First Aid with CPR-C certificate </li>
<li>Criminal record check required </li>
<li>You have access to a bike and helmet and can ride a bike proficiently </li>
</ul>

Job Description Position available Academy Soccer Coach Who are Challenger Sports? Challenger understands that players, coaches, parents and administrators all have different needs and priorities, and by listening to our customers for over 25 years we have created a TOTAL SOCCER company that caters to everyone involved in the game. Challenger Sports is owned and operated by some of the most experienced soccer people in the country and our team of 9 offices and 100 full time staff now provides a comprehensive range of Soccer services and products: Academy Coach Role Staff members will deliver soccer sessions to a variety of age groups, teams &amp; players whilst following a set Challenger curriculum. This role will mainly involve 
<ul>
<li>Coaching daily/weekly sessions to players of a variety of ages (2- 16 years old)</li>
<li>Logbooks: keeping track of your hours &amp; sessions</li>
<li>Session plans: use Challenger software to provide online session plans</li>
<li>Communication: to all parents/ players within our registration programs</li>
<li>Scheduling: follow your schedule &amp; be adaptable for any changes based on inclement weather</li>
</ul>
Compensation $450-$600 gross per week based on qualifications &amp; experience Location Locations throughout the Greater Boston area. We will try and accommodate travel to within a 1hr radius of your home Requirements Must be comfortable working with children of all age groups. All staff must pass rigorous background check. The vast majority of positions require your own transport.
