We are looking for a research scientist to join our team to train AI models. You will measure the progress of these AI chatbots, evaluate their logic, and solve problems to improve the quality of each model.
In this role you will need to hold an expert understanding of chemistry- a completed or in progress Masters/PhD is preferred but not required. Other related fields include, but are not limited to: Research and Development Chemist, Formulation Scientist, Development Chemist, Analytical Chemist, Chemical Engineer, Medicinal Chemist, Biochemist, Process Development Chemist.

Responsibilities:

<li>Evaluate the quality produced by AI models for correctness and performance</li>

Qualifications:
<ul>
<li>A current, in progress, or completed Masters and/or PhD is preferred but not required</li>
<li>Fluency in English (native or bilingual level)</li>
<li>Detail-oriented</li>
<li>Proficient in chemistry, inductive/deductive reasoning, physical/temporal/ spatial reasoning</li>

Validation and verification of analytical methods
perform investigations of out of specification, out of trends, equipment failure, etc. 
Present trending data to support development and validation following GMP guidelines
Perform analytical testing for organic and inorganic chemicals by using FTIR, HPLC, NMR LCMS, GCMS, ICP- MS, GC and wet chemistry
Create test procedures and provide analytical support for certain research products

MS in chemistry or biochemistry with 3-5 years experience or a BS with 5-7 years experience

Willingness to train and develop team members

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $75000.00 - $85000.00/yr.
