The Overnight Front Desk Agent is responsible for greeting guests upon arrival to access their file on the computer, check guests into either hotel rooms or condominiums in a pleasant, positive way to ensure that their experience at Jay Peak is a positive one. This position answers phones, assists guests with resort amenities and assists/resolves guest issues.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES &amp; RESPONSIBILITIES (include the following, other duties may be assigned)

<li>Welcomes guests on arrival and checks them in, accessing their reservation on the computer and advises the balance due for their stay, doing a credit card imprint or accepting cash.</li>
<li>Gives appropriate key to guests for the assigned room/condo.</li>
<li>Using an area map, indicates the location of the unit that the guest is checking into and explains how to get to room/unit.</li>
<li>Issues ski tickets during winter season to persons with packages that include skiing/riding.</li>
<li>Issues water park vouchers for one-night stay, water park wrist bands for multiple nights with packages that include Pump House.</li>
<li>Issues golf vouchers during the summer to persons with packages that include golf.</li>
<li>Orients the guest, explaining where the different service areas are located, such as Customer Service, Rental and Repair, Ski School, Pump House, Clips &amp; Reels, Tram, Cafeterias or Restaurants.</li>
<li>When required, explain how to get to retail outlets in the area, hospital, points of interest, event locations, etc.</li>
<li>Makes dining room reservations when required.</li>
<li>Prepares arrival packets to include necessary vouchers, amenity tickets, etc. based on package sold.</li>
<li>Must be well groomed and professional in appearance, wearing uniform items provided.</li>
<li>Troubleshoots problems that may arise for the guest and if necessary, consults with supervisor to resolve more difficult issues.</li>
<li>Works closely with security persons to assist guests who may have road, car or location of unit problems, that security can assist with.</li>
<li>Must be helpful and amiable toward the guest at all times. When difficulties arise you should consult a supervisor/manager for advice on how to handle.</li>
<li>On occasion will need to fill in on completing the night audit.</li>

Essential Responsibilities
<ul>
<li>Providing excellent services to members and patients.</li>
<li>The Wellness Coordinators primary responsibility is to gain memberships in order to meet sales goals.</li>
<li>Greeting members and patients upon arrival. Checking members and patients in to see the Chiropractor.</li>
<li>Answering phone calls.</li>
<li>Re-engaging inactive members.</li>
<li>Staying updated on membership options, packages and promotions.</li>
<li>Recognizing and supporting team goals and creating and maintaining positive relationships with team members.</li>
<li>Maintain the cleanliness of the clinic and organization of workspace</li>
<li>Confident in presenting and selling memberships and visit packages</li>
<li>Keeping management apprised of member concerns and following manager's policies, procedures and direction.</li>
<li>Willingness to learn and grow</li>
<li>Accepting constructive criticism in a positive manner and using it as a learning tool.</li>
<li>Office management or marketing experience a plus!</li>
<li>Able to stand and/or sit for long periods of time</li>
<li>Able to lift up to 50 pounds</li>

POSITION SUMMARY
<ul>
<li>Process all guest check-ins, verifying guest identity, form of payment, assigning room, and activating/issuing room key. </li>
<li>Set up accurate accounts for each guest according to their requirements.</li>
<li>Enter Marriott Rewards information. Ensure rates match market codes, document exceptions. </li>
<li>Secure payment prior to issuing room key, verify/adjust billing. </li>
<li>Compile and review daily reports/logs/contingency lists. </li>
<li>Complete cashier and closing reports. </li>
<li>Supply guests with directions and property information. </li>
<li>Accommodate guest requests, contacting appropriate staff if necessary. </li>
<li>Follow up to ensure requests have been met. </li>
<li>Process all payment types, vouchers, paid-outs, and charges. </li>
<li>Balance and drop receipts. Count and secure bank at beginning and end of shift. Obtain manual authorizations and follow all Accounting procedures. </li>
<li>Notify Loss Prevention/Security of any guest reports of theft.</li>
<li>Assist management in training, evaluating, counseling, motivating and coaching employees; serve as a role model and first point of contact of the Guarantee of Fair Treatment/Open Door Policy process. </li>
<li>Develop/maintain positive working relationships; support team to reach common goals; listen and respond appropriately to employee concerns. </li>
<li>Follow company policies and procedures; report accidents, injuries, and unsafe work conditions to manager; complete safety training and certifications; ensure personal appearance is clean and professional; maintain confidentiality of proprietary information; protect company assets. </li>

Requirements:
Education: High school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent.
Related Work Experience: At least 1 year of related work experience.
Supervisory Experience: At least 1 year of supervisory experience.
License or Certification: TIPS Certification 
Experience with FOSSE Property Management System is preferred
