Job Overview Pay: $32.00- $45.00 (1st & 2nd Shift)
We are seeking an experienced CNC Department Supervisor to oversee daily operations within our Laser and Press Brake departments. This role leads a high-production CNC environment focused on the precision manufacturing of armor plate components. The ideal candidate will bring strong leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to quality and safety.
Responsibilities

Lead and supervise operators running CNC laser cutting and hydraulic press brake equipment

Direct workflow from initial laser cutting through final precision bending of armor components

Review blueprints and CAD drawings to ensure production accuracy

Select proper tooling and dies for heavy-gauge steel fabrication

Oversee preventative maintenance programs for CNC machinery

Monitor quality control using precision measuring tools to verify tolerances

Enforce shop safety standards and ensure OSHA compliance

Coordinate material handling processes using cranes and forklifts
Requirements
-
5+ years of leadership experience in a CNC machine shop or heavy metal fabrication environment

Strong expertise in CNC programming and operation, preferably with Trumpf equipment

Advanced knowledge of heavy-gauge steel behavior, bend allowances, and fabrication processes

Ability to read and interpret complex engineering drawings and blueprints

Experience with high-precision measurement tools and quality control standards

Background in safely moving heavy materials using overhead cranes and forklifts

Strong math skills and attention to detail

Proven ability to lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing setting
