Job Summary The Grinding Operator – Bench Grind is responsible for operating CNC and manual grinding equipment in a precision manufacturing environment. Key Responsibilities Set up and operate CNC grinding equipment, including centerless (infeed and thrufeed), surface, and wire grinding machines, to meet quality and productivity requirements. Follow work instructions, prints, and operation sequences to produce parts within specification. Monitor machine performance during operation and identify abnormal conditions or malfunctions. Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area while supporting continuous improvement activities. Work collaboratively with team members across shifts to share information and maintain workflow. Qualifications Experience operating grinding or machining equipment is preferred. Background in manufacturing environments such as medical device, aerospace, metals, or machinery production is desirable. Ability to read and follow written and verbal instructions and meet production deadlines. Strong manual dexterity and experience using inspection and measurement tools. Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team-based manufacturing environment.
