Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology, active SLP license and 1+ year of Speech-Language Pathology experience required. Applicants who do not meet these qualifications will not be considered.

This position offers a rewarding opportunity for a Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) with a Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) to support young learners in a Pre-K setting. Providing specialized speech and language services within community-based educational environments, the role focuses on early intervention and fostering communication skills in children aged 3 to 5 years.

Location: Moody Pre-K and Community Sites, Lawrence, MA
Grade Level: Pre-Kindergarten
Caseload: 10-15 students
Hours: 15 hours per week
Contract Position

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct speech and language evaluations and assessments for Pre-K students
  • Develop and implement individualized intervention plans tailored to each child's needs
  • Collaborate with educators and families to support student progress and communication development
  • Document and track student progress, maintaining compliance with school and regulatory standards
  • Participate in team meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary approaches for student support

Qualifications:

  • Valid Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) in Speech-Language Pathology
  • Experience working with preschool-aged children in educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of early communication development and intervention strategies
  • Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
