The Community Development Finance Authority (CDFA) is a statewide nonprofit public authority dedicated to advancing community development, economic development, and clean energy initiatives across New Hampshire. Established in 1983, CDFA partners with communities and organizations to maximize the impact of investments that strengthen local economies and improve quality of life. The organization deploys a mix of financial and technical resources, including grants, loans, and equity programs, to support a wide range of projects. CDFA administers state tax credits, federal Community Development Block Grant funds, and the CDFA Clean Energy Fund to help communities access flexible, mission-driven capital.
