We are seeking a dedicated Laundry/Housekeeping Aide to support the functions of our nursing home establishment in Salem, Massachusetts. About the Role:
As a Laundry/Housekeeping Aide, you will be responsible for:
• Delivering soiled linens to the laundry area
• Sorting, washing, drying, folding, and returning clean linens to linen closets and resident rooms
• Consulting with patients to discuss supplementary laundering-related services that may be of use to them
• Ensuring all textiles are well cared for and maintained, contributing to the overall presentation of the establishment
Requirements:
• High School diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience preferred
• Familiarity with cleaning detergents and laundering equipment
• Ability to stand for long periods
• Capacity to lift up to 20 pounds unaided
• Minimum 2 years of experience
