American Traveler is hiring an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position including Post-Partum and Baby Unit, requiring a VT or compact license and 5+ years of experience.

- Combined Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit assignment within a 25-bed Critical Access Hospital
- Night shift schedule
- Floating required to other units, including covering overflow from the Progressive Care Unit

Requirements\n

- Active VT or compact RN license required, obtainable upon acceptance
- Minimum of 5 years of nursing experience required
- Current certifications: BLS, PALS, and NRP
- AWHONN nursing certification required

- Provide nursing care across Labor & Delivery, Post-Partum, and Baby Unit settings
- Located in Newport, Vermont, in the Northeast Kingdom near the Canadian border
- Area offers outdoor recreational activities such as hiking, skiing, fishing, and snowmobiling
- Personal transportation strongly recommended due to limited public transit
- Support provided throughout transition into the role and community
- Required to attend department quarterly education sessions
