Step into a rewarding opportunity supporting elementary students as a contract paraprofessional in a collaborative school environment. This short-term assignment begins immediately, with a flexible end date based on staff return. You'll work 30 hours per week over five days, making a direct impact on students' daily success and well-being.

As a valued member of the educational team, you will:

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Completion of required paraprofessional credentials/certifications.
• Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting is preferred.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and organizational abilities.
• A compassionate, patient, and flexible approach to supporting students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional needs.

Responsibilities:

• Assist classroom teachers in providing instructional support to students individually or in small groups.
• Support students with classroom tasks, social interactions, and participation in learning activities.
• Ensure a safe and positive classroom environment.
• Collaborate with staff to implement individualized education plans and follow behavior intervention strategies.
• Help supervise students during transitions, lunch, and recess as needed.
