Key Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts SPED License required
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Commitment to inclusive and adaptive teaching practices
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver engaging instruction tailored for students with varying abilities in both small group and individual settings
- Assess student progress and adjust lesson plans accordingly
- Develop, write, and implement IEPs in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams
- Communicate effectively with parents, guardians, and staff regarding student progress and goals
- Utilize evidence-based interventions and maintain accurate records
- Foster a supportive and empowering classroom atmosphere that encourages student growth and confidence
