Summary
We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Progressive Care Unit (PCU)/Med Surg-Telemetry team in Claremont, NH. This full-time, permanent opportunity is ideal for an RN with strong Med Surg, Telemetry, and Emergency Department experience who thrives in an independent, fast-paced critical access hospital environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and telemetry patients.
- Provide care for Med Surg, PCU, and step-down patients.
- Administer medications and treatments safely.
- Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams.
- Maintain accurate patient documentation.
- Respond quickly to changes in patient condition using critical thinking.
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care.
Minimum Requirements
- Active New Hampshire RN License or Compact RN License
- 2+ years of ICU, PCU, or Med Surg experience
- 2+ years of Emergency Department (ED) experience
- Telemetry experience required
- BLS (AHA) Certification
- ACLS (AHA) Certification
- PALS (AHA) Certification
- Ability to work independently in a small critical access hospital
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous travel nursing experience
- Rural or small facility experience
