Support students and educators in a dynamic school setting with a contract opportunity as a paraprofessional near Exeter, NH. Multiple roles are available for both 1:1 support and classroom assistance at the middle and high school levels. Whether you’re seeking experience or have previously worked in education, this is a great chance to make a meaningful impact in students’ daily lives.
As a paraprofessional, you'll play a vital role in fostering an inclusive, supportive educational environment. The district welcomes applicants who are passionate about education—no specialized certifications or advanced degrees are required, just your high school diploma and dedication.
What We’re Looking For:
- High school diploma (required; no additional certifications needed)
- Prior school or classroom experience is preferred
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Professionalism and positivity, even in fast-paced situations
- Fast access to three completed professional references, including your most recent manager (must be provided before interviewing)
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide 1:1 or classroom-based support to students, adapting to their individual needs
- Assist educators with instructional and behavioral support
- Support students with daily activities, assignments, and social interaction
- Help maintain a respectful and safe classroom environment
- Participate in team meetings and professional development as needed
- Adhere to school policies and confidentiality requirements
Schedule & Assignment Details:
- 32.5-hour work week following middle or high school schedules (Monday–Friday; half-hour unpaid lunch)
- Contract runs from ASAP through June 16, 2027
