Registered Nurse, Inpatient Complex Surgical Floor (36 hours)

Job DescriptionKey Responsibilities:

• Engaging in the development of a new 24-bed surgical unit.
• Delivering care to pediatric patients across all age groups, including those in Orthopedics, General Surgery, Urology, Solid Organ Transplant, and End Stage Renal Disease.
• Maintaining a 2:1 nursing ratio for 12 of the 24 beds, specifically for patients requiring fluid management and hemodynamic monitoring.
• Collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to ensure family-centered care and provide expert medical attention.
• Committing to a 36-hour work week with rotating shifts, including nights and every third weekend.

Minimum Qualifications Education:

Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) is mandatory.

Experience:

• At least 1 year of experience as an inpatient acute care RN is required.
• Experience in pediatrics is preferred.
• PALS or ACLS certification is preferred.

Licensure/Certifications:

• Current RN Licensure in Massachusetts is required.
