Title: System Analysis & Consulting Expert
Contract: 12 months
Payrate: $88/Hr. On W2
Location: 80 Ashby Road Bedford MA USA MA-01730
Work Location: Bedford, MA, USA
Work Schedule: Hybrid (3 days to be on-site)
Environment: International and multicultural team with global collaboration across time zones in a multi-product R&D setting
Key Responsibilities
- Develop industrial control systems and OT solutions following GAMP 5 guidelines, including technical specifications and validation support documentation, ensuring designs enable GxP compliance for biopharmaceutical R&D environments.
- Design and implement PLC programming and SCADA/HMI applications.
- Implement data exchange solutions using communication protocols.
- Demonstrate solutions via presentations and proof-of-concept implementations.
- Collaborate with product owners, architects, and stakeholders on the requirements and participate in Agile/Nexus Framework practices.
Required Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or related technical field
Experience
- 5+ years of hands-on experience in Industrial Control Systems and OT technologies with the proven track record in PLC programming and SCADA/HMI development in R&D environments.
Technical Skills
- Expert in STL/FBD/Ladder and object-oriented programming preferably using Siemens TIA Portal, CODESYS or Rockwell automation
- Expert in SCADA/HMI development preferably using Siemens WinCC, Ignition, Aveva System Platform or Rockwell Factory Talk View.
- Experience with OPC DA & UA, MODBUS, Ethernet/IP protocols for real-time data exchange
- Experience with DCS solutions (Delta-V and/or Siemens PCS), UI design and prototyping
- Experience with MS SQL Server and .NET framework
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with Siemens TIA Portal, Siemens WinCC or Rockwell Studio 5000 is a plus
- Hands-on MTP (Module Type Package) implementation experience is a plus
- Experience with RESTful APIs and WebSocket is a plus
- Familiarity with Automated testing frameworks, Version control (GitHub), Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Ansible), CI/CD pipelines for industrial automation systems
- Familiarity Virtualization technology, Docker, Monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus)
- Experience with Prometheus, RabbitMQ, Java, Docker, virtualizing SCADA and PLC packages
- Familiarity with ISA-88/ISA-95 standards
- Agile methodology and Nexus framework experience
- Knowledge of AI solutions and ability to use in SDLC is a plus
