Responsibilities
- Perform carpentry installation, including rough and finish carpentry.
- Read and interpret blueprints.
- Measure, cut, and assemble construction materials accurately.
- Ensure work complies with applicable Massachusetts building codes.
- Troubleshoot project issues and identify practical solutions.
- Follow jobsite safety practices.
- Collaborate effectively with team members and work independently as needed.
Required Qualifications
- 10 or more years of carpentry experience.
- Experience in rough carpentry and finish carpentry.
- Blueprint-reading skills.
- Knowledge of Massachusetts building codes.
- Construction measurement skills.
- Ability to use hand tools; must provide own hand tools.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
- Clear English proficiency.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
Preferred Qualifications
- Carpentry trade school or apprenticeship training.
