A hospital in New Hampshire is seeking an experienced Inpatient Staff Pharmacist for an immediate opening. This full-time role offers a consistent weekday schedule with rotating weekend coverage and the opportunity to work independently while supporting a variety of patient care units in a close-knit, rural hospital setting.
Responsibilities:
- Perform order verification and ensure accurate medication dispensing
- Provide clinical support across ICU, Labor & Delivery, Medical/Surgical, and Emergency Department units
- Collaborate with physicians and nursing staff on medication therapies
- Monitor patient outcomes and provide pharmacokinetic recommendations as needed
- Maintain compliance with hospital policies and regulatory standards
- Operate independently during weekend shifts
Qualifications:
- Active New Hampshire Pharmacist License (required)
- Minimum of 2+ years of inpatient hospital pharmacy experience
- Ability to work independently, especially during weekend coverage
- Experience with Meditech preferred
- Familiarity with Omnicell a plus
Skills:
- Strong clinical knowledge and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
- Ability to multitask and manage workflow efficiently
- Comfortable working in a rural healthcare setting
Work Hours
- Monday – Friday: 7:00/7:30 AM – 4:30/5:00 PM
- Rotating weekends (every 3rd weekend): Saturday & Sunday, 8:00 AM – 1:00 PM
