Make a meaningful impact by supporting K-8 students as a substitute paraprofessional on a per diem basis. This flexible opportunity places you in an engaging school environment where your expertise will help students with Level 3 Autism thrive. You will work closely in a 1:1 capacity, delivering tailored support to students throughout their school day.
What You’ll Bring:
- Professional experience supporting Level 3 Autism caseloads
- Background working with K-8 students, preferably in an educational setting
- Confidence in supporting students with non-verbal communication as well as moderate to severe behaviors
- Comfortability with providing toileting support as needed
- Preferred, but not required: CIP or Restraint Training, and de-escalation training
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct support to individual students, ensuring safety, engagement, and access to their educational programs
- Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and specialists
- Implement behavior support plans under the guidance of school teams
- Foster a supportive and inclusive environment where all students feel valued
- Support activities of daily living in accordance with student needs

Compensation for this position ranges from $26.42 to $40.42. This posting is open for 60 days after the posting date.
