Step into a rewarding opportunity working as a district-wide Occupational Therapist supporting students in a K-12 educational environment. This contract position spans four school buildings and offers the chance to make a meaningful impact across an entire district. The assignment is full-time, 35–37.5 hours each week, running from late August through mid-June of the following year, perfectly aligned with the academic calendar.
Key qualifications and experience:
- Valid Vermont OT Certificate required
- Prior experience in school-based occupational therapy roles preferred
- Comfort working with students in grades K–12
- Ability to travel between multiple buildings
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Strong documentation and collaboration abilities
Core responsibilities:
- Provide occupational therapy services district-wide across four buildings
- Develop and implement IEP goals in partnership with educators and families
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and document progress
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and other support staff for holistic student care
- Support students of varying ages and needs to achieve optimal educational access
- Foster a supportive, inclusive learning environment
