Make an impact as a Special Education Inclusion teacher supporting 4th or 7th grade students in a dynamic and collaborative school environment. This full-time contract opportunity (37.5 hours weekly) places you at the heart of inclusive education, where you’ll help shape successful outcomes for learners with diverse needs.

Preferred Experience and Qualifications:

  • Valid Massachusetts DESE Licensure in Moderate or Severe Special Needs is required.
  • Experience creating and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs), behavior intervention plans, and tracking student objectives.
  • Familiarity with special education eligibility, re-evaluation, and annual review processes.
  • Strong background in effective instruction for both small groups and individuals within inclusive classroom settings.
  • Skill in administering standardized assessments and analyzing data for reporting on student progress.
  • Collaborative approach in working with general education teachers, specialists, support staff, and families.
  • Experience supervising and supporting paraprofessionals and ABA Technicians.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs tailored to student strengths and areas for growth.
  • Deliver engaging instruction using evidence-based accommodations and modifications.
  • Participate actively in eligibility and annual review meetings, contributing expertise and insight.
  • Assess and document student performance using a mix of standardized tools, work samples, and observational strategies.
  • Consult on instructional techniques, differentiation, and effective interventions with colleagues.
  • Ensure ongoing compliance with federal and state requirements governing special education services.
  • Foster a positive learning environment where all students and staff feel valued and supported.
