By promoting healthy, safe living for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible.Our mission: Through the talents of an experienced and diverse workforce, OCES supports the independence and dignity of older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and services that promote healthy, safe living which positively impacts our community.We are seeking a Nutrition Program Supervisor responsible for the oversight of day-to-day operations of congregate meal-sites and the Home Delivered Meals program plus assigned staff. What you'll do:Assisting with the internal billing process as neededCoordinating delivery schedules, routes, and personnelDeveloping and recommending program improvementsEnsuring that consumer satisfaction standards are metEnsuring compliance with all applicable regulationsGenerating and updating program related reports as neededMaintaining updated inventory of equipment needed in department and meal sites Monitoring meal operations to ensure all health and safety standards are metOverseeing all training, supervision, scheduling, and evaluation of assigned staffPerforming bi-annual meal-site inspectionsReviewing and approving invoices for meals and site/caterer suppliesOther duties as assigned.What you'll bring:Excellent verbal and written communication skillsExcellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skillsAbility to deal effectively with statistical and financial dataKnowledge of general office procedures and equipmentProficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related softwareAbility to pay attention to detail, accuracy, and deadlinesAbility to travel and reliable means of transportationFamiliarity with meal service, health and safety requirementsMust possess or obtain appropriate food safety certificationsBachelor's degree required, preferably in Nutrition or Human ServicesThree years' experience in community or elder service programs Must have personal computer with secure internet access at homeMust be able to lift-up to 25 pounds at timesWhat you'll get:The ability to work with an enthusiastic team of like-minded individuals.Opportunity to develop professionally in your chosen career.Great work/life balance: 35-hour work week with some flexibility; standard M-F work week; hybrid work environment (home, office, and home visits).Exceptional benefits: generous paid time off policies; company paid LTD and life insurances; 401K plan.OCES is an open, welcoming organization that respects our diversity.
