Job DescriptionJob Summary
Winchester Rehabilitation and Nursing Center is seeking compassionate and dependable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing team. As a CNA, you will assist residents with activities of daily living and provide essential support to nursing staff while helping ensure high-quality, compassionate, and resident-centered care.
Responsibilities

Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs) according to care plans and facility policies, including bathing, grooming, oral care, hair care, lifting, turning, moving, positioning, and transferring.

Coordinate dining services, including meal tray delivery, feeding assistance, and accurate documentation of intake.

Deliver nutritional supplements and assist residents as needed while documenting intake accurately.

Measure and record vital signs, weight, intake, and output.

Promptly report changes in residents' condition to the nurse and supervisor.

Monitor residents' skin condition and report pressure areas, skin breakdown, or skin tears to the nurse and supervisor.

Provide supportive services to nurses and other members of the care team as needed.

Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for residents.

Complete accurate daily documentation.

Demonstrate flexibility when accepting different assignments.

Promote resident dignity, respect, safety, and comfort in all interactions.
Qualifications

Current, unencumbered Massachusetts CNA certification in good standing.

High school diploma or equivalent.

Must have no disciplinary actions against certification.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Strong critical-thinking skills.

Ability to handle challenging situations with tact and professionalism.

Compassionate, dependable, and committed to providing excellent resident care.

Ability to work effectively as part of a collaborative healthcare team.
