While daily interactions occur in a virtual setting, our outpatient office in Montpelier serves as the hub for collaborative efforts, ensuring that our counselors have the support they need to thrive. Monday through Friday, our counselors work from 9 AM to 5 PM, emphasizing work-life balance while maintaining a commitment to rigorous mental health care standards.

Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct in-depth initial assessments for new clients to identify their mental health needs and establish rapport.

  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that align with evidence-based practices ensuring clients receive high-quality care.

  • Provide therapeutic interventions, including individual therapy, couple’s therapy, and family therapy, utilizing various modalities tailored to each client's unique circumstances.

  • Maintain accurate and confidential client documentation in compliance with ethical standards and legal regulations, using electronic health record (EHR) systems for efficient management.

Your clients will include a diverse array of individuals from various backgrounds and demographics, each facing unique mental health challenges. This position requires sensitivity and adaptability as you work with clients experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological issues. Qualifications\n

  • A Master's degree or higher in Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

  • Possession of an active Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor (LCMHC) license in the state of Vermont.

  • Demonstrated effectiveness in working with clients from diverse backgrounds, exhibiting cultural competence and empathy.

  • Strong understanding of evidence-based therapeutic modalities and the ability to apply them in practice.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interaction with clients and team members.
