Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate the severity, frequency, and duration of mood disorder symptoms, collaborating with clients to understand their experiences.

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that are grounded in evidence-based methodologies, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).

• Educate clients and their families about mood disorders and available treatment options, empowering them with knowledge and self-care practices to enhance recovery.

• Monitor client progress by regularly reviewing therapy outcomes and making necessary adjustments to treatment plans to optimize effectiveness.

• Collaborate with other mental health professionals, including psychiatrists, to offer integrated care that meets the holistic needs of clients.

• Stay updated on advancements in mood disorder research and treatment modalities to continuously enrich your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Our clients vary widely, encompassing individuals affected by mood disorders, including depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety. Many of our clients come from diverse backgrounds, including vulnerable populations such as homeless individuals, refugees, and those affected by domestic violence. Your role will directly contribute to advocating for their mental health needs and combating stigma within the community.

Qualifications\n

• A current and active state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to build trust and rapport with clients.

• An empathetic, nonjudgmental attitude toward clients, recognizing and valuing their unique experiences.

Compensation and Benefits\n
