Job DescriptionOCES is growing! We are expanding to 11 more towns covering the south shore area, including Quincy, Braintree, Weymouth, etc.OCES supports older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing vital information and coordination of services. By promoting healthy, safe living for our consumers, we hope to allow them to stay active and engaged in their lives and in their own communities for as long as possible.Our mission: Through the talents of an experienced and diverse workforce, OCES supports the independence and dignity of older adults and individuals with disabilities by providing essential information and services that promote healthy, safe living which positively impacts our community.We are seeking a dedicated, caring Housing Program Supervisor professional who enjoys working in the community with our Housing team to ensure services and support to residents on-site in our Brockton area locations. What you'll do:Developing and maintaining close working relationships with Local Housing Authorities, providers, and other community representativesEnsuring quality of programs in accordance with policies and proceduresMaintaining program handbooks and other program materialsMaintain effective communication with Community Programs department and other OCES staff, housing authority and provider agency staffMonitoring and approving the work of assigned Housing Program staff Representing the agency as directed; participate in public outreach/education activitiesReceiving, organizing, distributing, and interpreting OCES and applicable funding source regulations, policies and standardsSupervising, evaluating, and making appropriate recommendations regarding assigned staff and housing programs/initiativesUnderstanding and adhering to regulations, standards, and proceduresOther duties as assignedWhat you'll bring:Your passion for helping others and desire to make a difference.Adaptability to be able to change as the needs of consumers and/or programs change Current Social Work License preferredThree years of experience in a social services environment; housing and supervisory experience preferredBachelor's degree in social work or related field preferredExcellent written and verbal skills.Excellent computer skills.Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.Bilingual is a plusWhat you'll get:The ability to work with an enthusiastic team of like-minded individuals.Opportunity to develop professionally in your chosen career.Great work/life balance: 35-hour work week with some flexibility; standard M-F workweek; hybrid work environment (home, office, and home visits).Exceptional benefits: generous paid time off policies; company paid LTD and life insurances; 401K plan.APPLY TODAY!OCES is an open, welcoming organization that respects our diversity.
