Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct initial consultations via video conferencing to assess clients' mental health needs, documenting findings accurately from the first interaction to the conclusion of treatment.

  • Perform thorough evaluations of clients’ behavioral, emotional, and psychological health to inform treatment planning.
  • \n

  • Design tailored intervention strategies and recovery plans for individuals, couples, families, and groups aimed at nurturing resilience and promoting mental wellness.

  • Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions, employing evidence-based techniques and therapeutic modalities.
  • \n

  • Continuously monitor clients’ progress on treatment goals and adapt interventions as needed to optimize outcomes.
  • \n

  • Collaborate consistently with other healthcare providers and mental health specialists to ensure a cohesive treatment experience, including coordinating referrals and follow-ups as necessary.

  • Stay vigilant to identify and mitigate behaviors that may hinder recovery, working closely with clients and their support systems.
  • \n

  • Support family members and primary caregivers in managing the emotional and behavioral challenges associated with clients’ mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will engage with a varied client population that includes individuals facing a range of mental health challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and addiction disorders. Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution is required.

  • Current licensure as a LMFT, LMHC, or LICSW in the state of Massachusetts.

  • A passing score on the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE) is essential.

  • Demonstrated experience in a counseling role, particularly in mental health settings, is required.

  • Proficiency in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems, such as AVATAR, to manage client information effectively.

  • Familiarity with the best practices outlined by the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA).

  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with an emphasis on empathy and rapport-building with clients.
