Key Qualifications:
- Valid Special Education teaching certification
- Experience with elementary-aged students, preferably K-4th grade
- Strong understanding of differentiated instruction and IEP development
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver individualized and group instruction to students with diverse learning needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor IEPs in partnership with staff and families
- Collaborate with general educators, paraprofessionals, and therapists to ensure student success
- Effectively manage classroom behavior, fostering a positive and inclusive environment
- Track academic progress, prepare regular reports, and maintain accurate documentation
- Attend team meetings, contribute to eligibility and progress discussions
