American Traveler is hiring a Med/Surg Tele RN for a Float Pool position requiring an active MA RN license and 2-3 years of related experience.

- Float Pool RN position within a hospital setting
- Medical-Surgical Telemetry patient population
- Unit does not have dedicated tele techs; RNs are responsible for reading and interpreting their own telemetry strips
- 12-hour day shift schedule (07:00 AM - 07:30 PM)
- Every other weekend required
- Float required

Requirements\n

- Active MA RN license required in hand
- Current certifications: BLS/CPR-AHA and ACLS-AHA
- 2-3 years of related Med/Surg Telemetry experience required
- Epic EMR experience required
- Experience with ventilator management, vasoactive and sedation titration, hemodynamic monitoring, and cardiac dysrhythmia recognition and management required
- Post-STEMI care experience and CCRN certification preferred
- Must pass a proctored ECG/Telemetry test (20 questions) and Medications test (20 questions) with an 85% score prior to acceptance, with only one attempt allowed

- Provide telemetry monitoring and interpretation for Med/Surg patients as part of a float pool role
- Testing must be completed within 48 hours of confirmation via Zoom, with a study guide provided by the client
- Required vaccinations include COVID (with booster) and Flu, with medical exemptions allowed
- No more than one holiday off request will be accepted
- Radius requirement of 50 miles; local candidates are not accepted for this position
- Previous BILH employees (travel, perm, or per diem) must observe a 6-month break between assignments at any BILH facility before returning
- No previous travel experience required to be considered for this position
