Afamily of five in Longmeadow, MA, is seeking a live-in Housekeeper/Family Assistant to become a long-term member of their household. This is primarily a housekeeping and family assistant position, with childcare support as needed.

The ideal candidate is hands-on and comfortable pitching in wherever needed. Responsibilities will include full-charge family laundry, household organization, children's meal preparation, errands, and occasional childcare. The family is looking for someone dependable, proactive, and team-oriented who enjoys working in a busy household and is willing to adapt to the family's changing needs.

Responsibilities:

Manage full-charge laundry for the family of five, including washing, folding, ironing, and putting clothes away.
Light housekeeping of 8,000sf home.
Maintain household organization, tidiness, and general upkeep.
Prepare meals primarily for the children, including dinner and make-ahead meals.
Run household errands, including shopping and other family-related tasks.
Grocery shopping.
Assist with childcare as needed around the children's active sports schedules.
Work collaboratively with the family and existing cleaning service to ensure the household runs smoothly.
Maintain a positive, organized, and proactive approach to household responsibilities.

Qualifications:

Strong housekeeping and organizational skills.
Experienced with full-charge family laundry.
Comfortable preparing simple, healthy meals for children.
Comfortable caring for children and providing occasional sole-charge childcare.
Proactive, dependable, trustworthy, and detail-oriented.
Able to work independently while also being part of a family team.
Valid driver's license and clean driving record.

Salary: $40 per hour

Schedule: 50 hours per week, weekends included.
