Position Overview:
The Staff Development Coordinator plans and manages staff education programs to ensure compliance with federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities:

Report to the Director of Nursing Services and Administrator.

Lead, evaluate, and supervise resident care; initiate corrective actions as needed.

Develop and implement annual educational schedules, approved by the Administrator and DNS.

Disseminate monthly educational program calendars promptly.

Maintain records of classes, attendance, and performance.
-
Ensure ongoing education for all staff and update education profiles.
-
Submit education programs to DPH as required.
-
Conduct orientation for new hires; collaborate on educational needs.

Uphold customer service standards.
-
Handle additional duties such as Quality Assurance.
Working Conditions:

Operate in office and facility environments.

Engage physically throughout the workday.

Available beyond normal hours, including weekends and holidays.
Requirements:

Education: Registered Nurse (RN) in Massachusetts.

Experience: At least one year of supervisory experience preferred.

Skills:

Proficient in English (written/spoken).

Decision-making and leadership skills.

Strong interpersonal abilities.

Knowledgeable in nursing practices and regulations.

Ability to plan, develop, and interpret programs and policies.

Continuously engage in education and training.
