ABOUT THE ROLE
Every roof we install protects a family. The sale is a promise. The Site Foreman is the person who keeps it. You run our roofing, siding, gutter, and window projects from the day materials land to the final walkthrough, making sure the work matches the contract and the homeowner always knows what's happening.
This role is built for someone who takes pride in a clean, well-run job site, communicates without being asked, and doesn't need to be managed. Sexton has earned its name in this valley since 1985 by doing the work right. You make sure we keep doing it.
HOW WE WORK
We hire for our values first. Skills can be taught. Character can't.
- Do the Right Thing Always: If something isn't right on the roof, we fix it.
- Build Meaningful Connection: Homeowners should feel cared for while we work on their home.
- Improve Yourself and Those Around You: Great supervisors make their crews better.
- Embody Empowered Responsibility: Your job sites, your crews, your homeowners.
- Proactively Communicate: Say it before it becomes a problem.
WHAT YOU'LL DO
- Be the homeowner's main point of contact from job start through final walkthrough.
- Lead subcontractor crews on site and hold them to our standard for quality, timeline, and cleanup.
- Inspect every job using our start, progress, and completion checklists.
- Enforce OSHA safety standards on every job site.
- Communicate scope changes, hidden damage, and delays early, and document change orders.
- Coordinate materials, dumpsters, and crew schedules with the production team.
- Keep job records current in the CRM, including photos, notes, and checklists.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Experience supervising residential construction projects, ideally roofing or exteriors.
- Strong knowledge of roofing, siding, and window installation.
- Working knowledge of OSHA safety standards. OSHA 10 or 30 is a plus.
- Experience leading crews or subcontractors.
- Comfortable on ladders and roofs.
- Clear, direct communicator with homeowners.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- Full-time W-2 salary, commensurate with experience, plus bonus opportunities.
- Health, dental, and vision insurance with a company contribution.
- Paid time off and paid holidays.
- Ongoing training, certifications, and room to advance.
- Based out of our West Hatfield office, on site across Western Massachusetts and Northern Connecticut.
