\n Unit Description: Phippen 6/7 is a 32 Bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg
\n Unit. This is a private unit admitting all other medical overflows. Years
\n of Experience Required: minimum of 2 years working in one
\n location; and 2 years working as a Traveler.Census:
\n 32
\n Total Beds. 16 beds in Phippen 6 and 16 beds in Phippen 7. Floating
\n Required: Travelers are required to float to applicable units
\n when requested.Rotating
\n Shifts Required: Day Rotators may be rotated between
\n (7a-7p, 11a-11p or 7p-7a) shifts when needed. Night positions do not
\n rotate. Rotation frequency: low.Skill
\n Sets Required: Med/Surg RN with neuro assessment skills
\n and telemetry competency; ability to interpret Tele Strips.Clinician
\n to Patient Ratio: Day and Eve shifts are 1:4, may go up to
\n 5. Night shift is 1:5 or 6.Patient
\n Population: Scheduled elective Orthopedic and Neuro/Surg
\n patients, Fractures, Neuro patients and all other medical patients overflow. Bed
\n Count: 32 beds. EMR
\n (Charting System): EPIC.Certifications Required: Current
\n Massachusetts RN License. AHA BLS. (ACLS preferred).
