Job Title: Systems Engineer Test Technician
Location: Acton, MA 01720 (Onsite – 5 Days/Week)
Duration: 6 Months Contract
Pay Rate: $30/hr on W2
Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
Job Description:
We are seeking a Systems Engineer Test Technician to support R&D and medical device testing activities. The candidate will assist with test setup, fixture building, manual and automated testing, prototype development, equipment maintenance, and test documentation.
Key Responsibilities:
- Set up and maintain laboratory equipment and test fixtures.
- Execute manual and automated tests and document results.
- Troubleshoot testing issues and collect logs/data.
- Support test validation, Gage R&R, and measurement analysis.
- Coordinate with engineering teams on testing activities.
- Maintain lab safety, 5S, and equipment maintenance standards.
Required Qualifications:
- High School Diploma/GED required.
- 3+ years of laboratory experience, preferably R&D.
- 2+ years of Microsoft Office (Word/Excel) experience.
- Strong documentation, technical writing, and troubleshooting skills.
Preferred Skills:
- Medical device industry experience (FDA/ISO).
- Python, Git, Jenkins, or other automation tools.
- SolidWorks, CAD, and 3D printing experience.
- Equipment maintenance and Measurement System Analysis (MSA).
Note: Must be comfortable working onsite and lifting up to 50 lbs occasionally.
