We're looking for an HVAC SERVICE technician — not just an installer!
(Opportunity to move into management role)
Powerhouse Plumbing & Heating Corp. is growing, and we're looking for an experienced, motivated HVAC Service Technician to join our expanding Service Division!
We've been serving Southern New Hampshire and Northeastern Massachusetts since 2000, and we're looking for someone who takes pride in their trade, knows how to troubleshoot complex problems, and can confidently handle HVAC service calls from start to finish.
If you're a skilled HVAC service professional who enjoys diagnosing problems, finding solutions, and working independently with a strong team behind you, we'd like to hear from you.
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
- Minimum 3+ years of hands-on HVAC SERVICE, diagnostics, and repair experience
- Current EPA Section 608 certification and applicable trade licenses
- Strong electrical troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
- Experience diagnosing, servicing, and repairing gas furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, and central air conditioning systems
- Experience with ductless mini-split systems, including multi-zone equipment
- Knowledge of refrigerant systems, airflow, electrical components, controls, and thermostats
- Ability to diagnose refrigerant leaks, system performance issues, and mechanical failures
- Experience performing preventative maintenance, system inspections, and equipment repairs
- Ability to independently diagnose problems, explain repair options, and complete repairs
- Professional communication and customer service skills
- Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record
- Experience with ServiceTitan is a plus, but not required
This is a SERVICE position focused on troubleshooting, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs — not primarily new-construction installations.
