Embark on an impactful contract as a School Psychologist and make a difference across a diverse student population for the upcoming school year. This district-wide opportunity is based near Peterborough, NH, providing focused support to K-12 students, with a primary emphasis on the elementary level. The assignment spans from late August through mid-June, aligning with the academic calendar and offering a consistent full-time schedule of 35 hours per week.
Your expertise will shape the academic and social-emotional success of students by conducting individualized evaluations, collaborating on the development of IEPs and intervention plans, and delivering direct services based on school needs. You’ll work closely with educational teams, students, and families to foster positive learning environments.
Desired Qualifications:
- Eligible for, or currently holding, New Hampshire School Psychologist endorsement (0046), OR Associate School Psychologist and a valid New Hampshire Psychologist License
- Master’s degree or above in School Psychology or a related field preferred
- Experience in creating and implementing IEPs and conducting comprehensive student evaluations
- Previous work in school-based settings serving diverse student populations
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
- Commitment to fostering inclusive, data-driven educational practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments to inform IEPs and student support plans
- Develop, document, and monitor intervention strategies collaboratively with staff and families
- Provide direct psychological services and support within the school environment
- Consult and participate in multidisciplinary meetings throughout the district
- Ensure compliance with regulations, timelines, and best practices in service delivery
