Step into a rewarding contract position supporting students’ growth as a Special Education Case Manager in a vibrant middle school environment. This opportunity runs through June 17th, 2027 (or until a direct hire is secured) and offers a full-time schedule of 37.5 hours per week, providing crucial support to 8th-grade learners in a setting where collaboration and compassion are valued.

What You’ll Bring:

  • Active Special Education teaching license for New Hampshire (NH SpEd License, 1900 Teaching Endorsement) preferred; consideration given to candidates eligible for a Board-approved letter of eligibility.
  • Experience or confidence in managing caseloads of middle school students, particularly those with Autism, ADHD, and a variety of other learning differences.
  • Familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs), progress monitoring, and adaptive instructional strategies.
  • Strong communication skills for working with colleagues, families, and paraeducators.
  • Dependability, organization, and a passion for guiding young learners as they grow academically and socially.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as case manager for approximately 20-30 8th-grade students receiving special education services.
  • Document, implement, and track IEPs while ensuring compliance with state and federal guidelines.
  • Collaborate closely with other case managers and multidisciplinary teams to share caseloads and expertise.
  • Coordinate paraeducator support as appropriate, and maintain open communication with families and staff.
  • Support diverse learners using evidence-based interventions and classroom accommodations.
