Qualifications & Desired Experience:
- Active Full-Time Special Education Teacher licensure required
- Experience developing and implementing Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Strong classroom management and communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including general education staff, specialists, and families
- Familiarity with a variety of instructional and behavioral strategies suited for diverse learners
- Organizational skills and a positive, student-centered approach
Responsibilities:
- Develop and adapt lesson plans to meet individual student needs
- Provide direct instructional support in both one-on-one and group settings
- Monitor student progress and maintain detailed records according to district and legal requirements
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and support staff to ensure each child’s needs are addressed holistically
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to the educational planning process
