JOB DESCRIPTION:&nbsp;

Assists the Lab Director/Lab Manager in the management of the division and serves as a resource person for problem solving. Primary duties include teaching/training, communication, testing, research and development and quality control.
\n \n
EDUCATION:&nbsp;
\n
Bachelor's degree in biological science or chemistry and Medical Laboratory Scientist (MT/MLT) certification
\n
Or
\n
Associate’s degree / Medical Laboratory Technician Certification. Three years of clinical laboratory experience.
\n \n
Medical Laboratory Scientist certification by an appropriate laboratory agency is required.&nbsp;Specialty certification is strongly encouraged. In-depth technological knowledge in specialty area.

EXPERIENCE:&nbsp;
\n
Three years of clinical laboratory experience.
\n \n
SCHEDULE:
\n
This position is 36 hours per week from 11:30 am - 10:00 pm and every third weekend.
