LeachGarner is looking for an experienced Machine Operator to join our team on 1st shift in Attleboro.
Hours: 5:00 am - 3:30 pm, Monday - Thursday
Pay rate: $18.00 per hour
Responsibilities include:
- Operate wire drawing machine to reduce wire diameter
- Review work orders and select wire dies according to specifications
- Set up machinery to make desired size
- Utilize precision measuring devices to ensure quality product is being made to exact specifications (Micrometers, Calipers and magnifiers)
- Record production data in computer system
- Follow all safety rules and PPE requirements
- Perform other tasks as needed to further our company's goals and uphold our commitments
Requirements:
- Able to lift 15 to 30 pounds multiple times throughout shift
- Must be able to stand and move throughout 10-hour shift
- Good manual dexterity to handle thin wire processes
- Good visual acuity
- Must be able to read and speak English
- Machine operator experience
- Basic computer skills
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to work on Fridays if needed
