Job Description

Job ResponsibilitiesOperate all snowmaking equipment in a safe and efficient mannerOperate all vehicles, including snowmobiles, in a safe and efficient mannerPerform basic snowmaking equipment maintenanceWork on the production of snow to create the best skiing surface for our guests.Creates and maintains top quality snow surface of manmade snow.Set up, tear down, and maintain snowmaking systems.Manufacture snow which meets or exceeds established quality standards.Set up guns and hoses as directed on the mountain.Monitor quality of snow produced; make adjustments to snowmaking equipment as necessary.Responsibility for checkout and return of all small tools to original locationsReport any malfunctions or needed repairs of operational problems to the supervisor immediately.Ability to work in all weather conditions Requirements:Ability to communicate situations and concepts to other employeesAble to work extended hours outdoors Must possess valid driver's licenseGood organizational and mechanical skillsMust be able to operate snowmaking equipment safelyAbility to define problems, collect data, establish facts and draw conclusionsSelf motivated and able to satisfactorily perform tasks without supervisionBe able to lift 50 poundsTenney Resort & Recreation LLC is proud to be an equal opportunity employer.
